I was born to be a spelling bee champion, but after my success in the fifth grade I grew tired of competition and chose to start riding bikes instead. I did my first race in ´96, but it took awhile for me to get to the finish line in one piece. Since then I´ve raced primarily mountain bikes and cyclocross, but as part of the UVM Cycling team I did compete in 2 collegiate road seasons.

Recently I've split my time between mountain bike and 'cross events.  For 2010 I'll be focusing primarily on endurance mountain bike races through the spring and summer before settling into 'cross later in the fall.
